Marine Claims Process

File your claim
Refer to your Certificate of Insurance for claim process

Arrange for survey immediately
Request Carrier/Bailees to attend a joint survey when necessary.
- For imports, please contact Liberty Insurance at claims@libertyinsurance.com.sg or by phone 1800-LIBERTY (5423 789)
- For exports, please contact the survey agent listed on the Insurance Certificate/Policy
- To clause delivery receipt if goods received in doubtful condition (to preserve your rights) against the Carrier/Bailees
- For missing/damaged goods, submit your claim immediately or send written notice to the Carrier/Bailees/Port Authorities
- Send a written notice to Carrier/Bailees within 3 days of the delivery of the cargo if the loss or damage was not apparent at the time of delivery

Acknowledge
You will receive an acknowledgement from Liberty that we have received your claim submission.

Process your claim
Upon receiving all original documents, Liberty will process your claim.

Receive your claim amount
You will receive an email from Liberty that payment will be processed to the mode of payment that you have selected.
